If the water remains, then, you can use the small basin to scoop some of the water out of the sink and into the bucket. Now take the wrench and being very careful, undo the lower part of the bottle trap. Once you have done this, the water should discharge into the bucket. Allow all the water and the contents of the U-bend or bottle trap fall into the bucket. Use the coat hanger to form a probing hook that fits the shape of your sink’s trap and use it, to rake out all those greasy locks of hair and bits of debris that was blocking the sink.
